On November 15, 2022, Gree Taiwan Distributors Conference 2023 & Press Conference was held grandly in Taiwan, China. Owen Lee, Assistant General Manager of Gree Electric Appliances, Inc. of Zhuhai, was invited to attend the conference and presented Gree's achievements in technological innovation, quality control and other fields to the distributors.
In the speech, Owen first appreciated Gree Taiwan’s performance in the local market. Gree has always been innovation-driven and sets no limit for R&D expenditure. Standing firm in giving priority to quality, Gree strictly controls the material sources and insists on transformation and upgrading to follow the development trend of carbon neutrality and develop eco-friendly, safe, energy-saving and comfortable products. These achievements are attributed to Gree’s strong R&D capability, huge production capacity, strict quality control system and advanced management mode. Secondly, Taiwan is a relatively mature market with high demands for products and quality, even its demand for energy efficiency is much higher than that of other markets. It not only brings pressure, but also motivation to Gree. In the future, we will adhere to the market orientation and develop more energy-saving, more eco-friendly and healthier products to serve Taiwan consumers.
With 2022 coming to a close, Gree brand has made a rapid development breakthrough in Chinese Taiwan this year. Thanks to our complete product line and professional services in the industry, the market share continues to increase and the brand awareness continues to improve. At the distributors conference, Mr. Liao Quanping, Chairman of Gree Taiwan, said that in recent years, the sales of Gree household products in Taiwan have grown rapidly under the joint efforts of the distributors. Meanwhile, Gree Taiwan has established a complete commercial product line, and made some accomplishments after several years of hard work. The quantity of reference projects has reached more than 20 (16 projects of GMV systems and 13 projects of chillers). In the future, both commercial and household products will be developed together, to realize the rapid and healthy development of Gree brand in Taiwan.
In addition, the sales staff of Gree Taiwan introduced the products and the after-sales service system set up in 2022 to the distributors. The product introduction covered a rich product line of 60 kinds of household split air conditioners with four upgraded functions which include black fins for anticorrosion, U-shaped pipe for anticorrosion, evaporator self-cleaning and cold plasma. The commercial product lines including the new generation of all DC inverter GMV6, LHVE series screw chiller, CVE series permanent magnet synchronous inverter centrifugal chiller and CCE series magnetic bearing inverter centrifugal chiller were also introduced.
At the end of the conference, Wu Xingzhi, General Manager of Gree Taiwan, announced the marketing policies and distribution incentives of the coming year. Started from brand positioning and brand image, the purpose is to enable distributors to make profits and let consumers to receive stable price policy and convenient after-sales services. At the same time, household and commercial dual-engine effect will promote Gree into a world-class professional air conditioning brand, to achieve win-win results for brands, channels and customers.
