Gree, Gold and Silver Medal Winner Again!

    Recently, the 49^th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva was held in Switzerland. Over 1,000 projects from more than 40 countries were involved. Gree stood out and won 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal with its core technologies, gaining recognition of professional judges from European countries. The “Kinghome refrigerator with all-round freshness preservation” project won the gold medal, “High performance linear servo system” project won the silver medal and “Automatic front loading washing machine based on the technology of rinsing with running water” project won the bronze medal.

Gree endeavors to the freshness preservation technologies of refrigerators. The gold medal project, “Kinghome refrigerator with all-round freshness preservation”, is equipped with tender freezing and freshness preservation technology, superfreezing technology, and photosynthetic hydration freshness preservation technology for fruit and vegetables, providing comprehensive nutrition for different scenes of life and different kinds of ingredients to allow the consumers to eat healthier.

Gree has been increasing the R&D investment on intelligent equipment and got breakthrough in product performance enhancement. This time, the silver medal project “High performance linear servo system” put forward the concept of subsection modular linear motor design and high-efficiency multidentate water-cooled heat dissipation structure based on the application of high-end CNC machine tools, thus satisfying the high-speed and high-precision operation of CNC machine tools.

In terms of household home appliances, apart from the top-ranking freshness preservation technology for refrigerators, Gree high-efficiency and worry-free clothes washing technologies enable the consumers to free their hands. The bronze medal project “Automatic front loading washing machine based on the technology of rinsing with running water” does not only ensure washing effect, but also shorten the washing time by 40%; meanwhile, it solves the secondary clothing pollution of traditional basin rinsing.

Up to now, Gree has applied over 120,000 patents and has 44 “world leading” technologies. Besides, it has won 2 National Science and Technology Progress Awards, 2 National Technology Invention Awards, 3 Chinese Patent Gold Awards, 3 Chinese Appearance Design Gold Awards, 15 Gold Awards at Geneva Inventions and 10 Gold Awards at Nuremberg Inventors' Fair.
