Recently, Gree has won the first phase air conditioning project of the Kantaya Center in Yangon, Myanmar. This is another national benchmarking air-conditioning project for Gree along the "Belt and Road" after winning the China-Laos railway project.
Located in the downtown of Yangon, Myanmar, Kantaya Center is just opposite the Royal Lagoon, covering a land area of 3.53 acres. It has a gross floor area of more than 110,000 m2 and consists of four towers (20~25 stores) and a lower podium. In 2017, Kantaya Center was awarded the Best Office Award in Myanmar, the Best Hotel in Myanmar, Best Service Apartments in Myanmar, and Best Complex in Myanmar by the Asian assessment and awarding authority - AISA PROPERTY AWARDS in Singapore.
It is understood that, due to the special landmark significance of the project, the air conditioning project evaluation agency of Kantaya Center has strict requirements for the access of relevant facilities. With leading technologies and reliable quality, Gree GMV5 Series All DC Inverter Multi VRF units have won the recognition of the evaluation agency.
Since entering the Burmese market, Gree has introduced a series of international installation standards for high-end urban complexes and tropical climatic environment and strengthened the monitoring of equipment installation process to ensure that every detail can meet or even exceed the design requirements. Golden City, the tallest building in Myanmar, Times City, the largest complex in Myanmar, and Grand Hantha International Hospital in Myanmar all use Gree central air conditioners.
"Gree has always adhered to independent innovation over the years. Under the auspices of the ‘Belt and Road’ Initiative, Gree is committed to becoming a leader in the field of Myanmar HVAC equipment and a creator of benchmarking standards in the air conditioning market in Myanmar”, said Gree Myanmar market leader about Gree’s development goals for Myanmar in 2018.
